  • This assignment is on my website.  If you are not here to work on it then you are still expected to complete it on time.  If you are emailing it to me then take a picture of your notes and send those as well.

What will you be doing?

Watch this John Green Video to learn about the Anthropocene- Take notes on the video - First part of your notes.

You have learned quite a bit about the invertebrates and now you will demonstrate your knowledge about how we as humans are affecting them in various ways.  The Anthropocene is significant in this.

Second part of your notes would be at least 2 of these articles.  From there narrow your topic to one of the articles for your paper.  If you are emailing your assignment to either of us the expectation is you will then take a picture of your notes and attach it to the email.  No notes = no grade!

Here are some articles to get you started.  You can pick one of them as your source, and then find 2 other sources on your own to complete your paper.  You will see that some species are thriving where others are in decline. Look for why this is happening and how is artificial selection involved?

On finals day each of you will be sharing what you learned in a 2 minute share out with your peers.  This will be part of the 100 points this project is worth.
