Project 1- Technology Implications for Quality Education
- This was a group project and I enjoyed greatly the discussions and collaborations with the group I was in. Working on such a project allows me to reevaluate what I am doing with my Doctoral journey and supporting and encouraging my peers. We focused on technology in education as that is at the forefront of reality during Covid and students are in need of learning technology or they are in danger of languishing in their education.
Project 2 - Dashboard Ap - I created a dashboard demonstrating the number of jobs available to baby boomers and milennials. My thinking here was that there are not as many jobs now for young people as they venture into the world. Large corporations like Amazon, Walmart. and the many fast food restaurants have created a job "black hole" that keeps young people working in low growth (personally) jobs.
Project 3 - GreenDundee is an ap that is meant to rate local Dundee, Illinois businesses on their sustainability based on the UNSDGs. On the next page there is feedback that my students provided for me if they were to use this ap. It is definitely still in the protoype stage but I love the concept and I would like to move forward on this ap.
Capstone- I used my website on Yolasite instead of Google as my district has the Google web page builder blocked on the server and I have been working on my classwork at the school. What I submit is a website I built years ago for my students and have added to it since. Feel free to look around. :)
